(1) To act as the executive body of the University there shall be an Executive Council consisting of the following members:-

(a) Vice-Chancellor Chairman< /p>

(b) One member from among the Deans

(c) From among the Campus Heads who are members of the Assembly One member

(d) Three members including one teacher from among the members of the Assembly

(e) Registrar Member-Secretary

(2) The nomination of the members under clauses (b), (c) and (d) of sub-section (1) shall be made by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor.

(3) The term of office of nominated members shall be three years.

(4) If the position of nominated members becomes vacant for any reason, another person shall be nominated for the remaining period after completing the process as per sub-section (2).
